Day Trip to St Ives, Cornwall
On 4th May 2024 MSM travelled to St Ives with Cornish and Syrian families to enjoy a trip to the seaside and lunch on the beach. The trip was also supposed to involve a visit to the Tate Gallery St Ives, but unfortunately, as we arrived the gallery experienced a power cut and was no longer receiving visitors. Not to be disappointed the families had lunch at a beachside Greek cafe and walked through the town. It was the first time that the Syrian families had visited St Ives, but said that they would like to come back again and this time visit the art gallery if possible!
